GOST R certificate is MANDATORY for EVERY manufacturer and supplier that is planning to import its products to the territory of the Russian Federation and former USSR republics. Absence of such a certificate means that these manufacturers and suppliers WILL BE DENIED ACCESS to the markets of the Russian Federation and former USSR republics.

The Russian system of certification, in difference from European and international, has a number of features which consist in increased requirements to production imported from abroad. Therefore, if you wish to begin trade relations with Russia, it is necessary for you to know features of certification of production for its further delivery to territory of Russia.

The declaring of quality accepted in the European Union and safety of production СЕ is not replaced with the Russian certificate of the conformity, therefore all production put to Russia should have the certificate of GOST R.

Certification is a procedure of acknowledgement of the conformity, doing by the independent organisation accredited by the state.

Thus the manufacturer or the seller receives the document (certificate) which certifies that procedure corresponds to the requirements established by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
